This dress can be made full length or to finish at the knee, or any other length in between. The fullness of the skirt can be increased by including a full net underskirt for a very glamorous 1950’s silhouette. The dress is made of silk dupion, which has a slightly stiff quality perfect for this style of dress and a lovely sheen, with natural irregularities that add a texture to the surface. Silk dupion is available in an extensive variety of colours. The sash is an optional extra, also made from silk dupion and available in any colour. Optional accessories can be made to order in complimentary shades and the raw silk flowers can be made in the same fabric as the dress.
